We spoke today with this gentleman, Peter Badie, at his Habitat House in the Musicians’ Rainbow Village. He had so much to tell us – about the storm
(and especially about the flood), about being in WWII, about all the musicians he has played with, from Dizzy Gillespie to Lionel Hampton, stories about
Branford Marsalis and Aaron Neville, and about still playing his bass in the French Quarter. If we didn’t have to get back so many of our group could get to the
school for their afternoon classes with the 3rd to 5th graders, we could have talked with him much longer. HOWARD MOSS

What a nice, reserved group from New Wilmington. Or not!
