The Rev. Dr. Ted Martin joined NWPC in January 2026 as interim pastor. With 33 years of ordained ministry and more than 45 years of Christian leadership and service, Ted brings a wealth of experience to NWPC as the congregation searches for its next pastor.

A graduate of Westminster College with degrees in Christian Education and Elementary Education, Ted earned his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and his Doctorate in Reformed Theology through Pittsburgh Seminary and King’s College in Scotland. He has served churches in Pennsylvania and Tennessee, including 18 years as Senior Pastor of Hampton Presbyterian Church. Ted and his wife of 39 years, Becky, have one son, Caleb, who lives in Munich, Germany. Though officially retired from Hampton Presbyterian, Ted says he still has “gas in the tank” and is grateful to be called to serve the New Wilmington community.
