About Us

New Wilmington Presbyterian Church began in 1809, when the Rev. Alexander Murray became our first pastor.

Our church has changed over the years, but one thing has remained: people gathering together to worship and serve God. More History Here.

For more than 200 years, people have gathered in New Wilmington to worship God, learn together, care for one another and serve their neighbors.

Today, we're a community of more than 400 people seeking to follow Christ and live out our faith in the world around us.

We're part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Shenango Presbytery. Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ and grounded in Scripture. We believe faith isn't simply something we believe on Sunday. It shapes how we love our neighbors, care for one another, seek justice, practice generosity and serve our community.
